“No.7″ is a movie about a young girl’s emotional breakout from a golden cage. She’s fragile, very thoughtful and lost in a cold, capitalist world, looking for rebellion. An escape into the unknown dark. On her lonely walks through the night she discovers playing cards which seem to be a hidden trace.

By collecting these cards she meets a suspicious character. He seems to be from a different world. A bizarre figure wearing tails and cylinder, skating through the dark night – unrestrained and free, a pyromaniac.
Loneliness is their mutual friend until she realizes that he’s just a projection of her wishes, a part of her.

A beautiful, fragile girl with clear, curious but sad eyes. She’s wearing short hair like a boy and dresses in bright, innocent colors. She’s driven by the desire of rebellion and freedom which society oppresses – until now!

Bizzare, obscure almost a “Burton”-Character. He’s wearing tails and hat while skating through floodlit Düsseldorf at night. He seems to be accompanied by fire, whether by a magnesium torch or burning playing cards which he uses to light his cigarettes. As if he tries to bring back light into the cold city. His eyes are dark, sunken cheeks and a pale face, like a pantomime. A fantasy being.
